This Lumiblok is designed to facilitate the placement of anterior lingual and palatal retainers.

- Its bite block securely holds the mouth open. Simply position the transverse notch between teeth 5 and 6 (or 6 and 7 in cases of premolar extractions) of the affected arch. The vertical support of the mouth provides comfort for the patient, for whom it is naturally easier to clench their teeth than to keep their mouth open.

- Its central section pushes back the tongue and exposes the surgical area.

- The mirror reflects light onto the palatal and lingual areas that are impossible to illuminate with direct lighting.

- The mirror allows for indirect visibility of the surgical area.

- Lateral notches allow the passage of the saliva ejector, but a significant decrease in saliva production is noted with the wearing of the Lumiblok even in the absence of a saliva ejector.

The Lumiblok retainer is reversible for upper and lower jaws.

It can be used with: vestibular salivary rollers, a reinforced sublingual salivary roller (like the Parotis), and cheek retractors.

The small Lumiblok retainer provides a mouth opening of approximately 30 mm between the upper and lower incisor edges, and an anteroposterior working space of approximately 17 mm in the maxilla and 12 mm in the mandible.

The large Lumiblok retainer provides a mouth opening of approximately 35 mm between the upper and lower incisor edges, and an anteroposterior working space of approximately 19 mm in the maxilla and 14 mm in the mandible.

The Lumiblok is a removable, reusable, and autoclavable system with a lifespan of 10 to 50 uses.

The mirror is compatible with innOralis' soaking rack, ultrasonic cleaning and thermowasher systems.
